Demolition
January 27th, 2009 Posted in Independence Hwy. RemodelIt’s been one week since we started work on this project and demolition is under way! All the interior surfaces, appliances, cabinetry and siding that need to be removed are gone. A few walls have been removed but several will still have to come down to accommodate the new master suite and great room. We have also started excavating for the foundation that will support the relocated dining room. Because of the large scale of this project, we will be demolishing and building in stages as we move through the house. Next week we will be pouring the foundation for the new addition. Stay tuned!
