Master Suite Retreat and Back Entry Addition
The beautiful shower shown below is just part of the transformation of this Master Suite. An existing patio roof was incorporated into the design to enlarge the master bedroom and make room for a private bathroom. A luxurious shower includes a Travertine seat, recessed niches, an adjustable hand held shower sprayer, and a beautiful inlaid tile mural. Special features in the bathroom include a heated floor and a convenient outlet in the vanity drawer to keep the hairdryer out of sight.
The owners now enjoy a walk-in closet with built-in ironing board and a separate powder room for visitors.
The back door, used as the primary entrance, was moved in order to allow more space for the greeting of guests. Built-ins, complete with shoe cubbies, a seat, and coat hooks, minimize clutter and make visitors feel right at home. An agate bordered tile floor is a practical and beautiful choice for the entry.
The dining room was expanded to accommodate the frequent guests the homeowners host and in the summer they can enjoy their patio in the shade of their new pergola.
