Eco-Friendly Whole House Remodel:The owners of this ranch style home in Corvallis decided it was time for a complete whole house renovation. Green products were incorporated into the design to make the project as eco-friendly as possible. Low v.o.c. paints, naturally dyed wool carpeting installed without glues, and cork flooring in the downstairs all helped to reduce the project's impact on the environment. ![]() Relocating the stairs to a more central location provided the ability to open up the kitchen to create a great room with the dining and family room. Custom built-in cabinetry provides additional storage and serves as a buffet area.

The entry space was completely redesigned and opened up. Attention to detail in the finishing touches such as this custom newel lamp post, hand crafted trim, and window seat with built-in storage all help to create interesting and beautiful spaces. ![]() The kitchen displays natural alder cabinets with narrow reed glass doors, granite slab countertops and stainless steel appliances. The checkered Marmoleum flooring is not only sustainable but continues the classic retro look that the homeowners desired. ![]() With a beautiful array of custom built-ins and stylish selections a classic style is portrayed throughout the home. ![]() |
