For a cook who loves to entertain, this dark, crowded kitchen with limited counter space just didn't do the job. There was no prep space next to the range and a narrow single doorway into the rest of the home that choked off circulation. For an in depth look at this remodeling project click here.

The adjacent rooms had no room to spare, so we built an addition to accommodate this fabulous kitchen. Now there is ample room for guests at the raised bar or in the custom built booth to relax and enjoy the company of friends. A large archway connects the kitchen to the living room for better circulation as well.

The prep sink in this island increases the versatility of the kitchen. And the beautiful range pictured below, has all the features a gourmet cook desires. Next to the range is the popular dishwasher drawers by Fisher Pykel. For everyday dishes these drawers make washing very efficient.
