Laundry and Back Entrance Addition, Corvallis:

This family has always loved their Corvallis house and neighborhood but longed for just a little more space. They had a very small laundry located off of the kitchen and no pantry. They hoped to add a laundry with space for crafts, a pantry, a mudroom, a bay window for an eating nook, and, if possible, expand their living room slightly. This modest but complex addition greatly improved the functionality and flow of the home.

A covered deck was converted into a service area with a back entrance/mudroom leading to a laundry/craft room. The width of the living room was expanded by two feet and a bay window was added.

The existing laundry room near the kitchen was transformed into a walk-in pantry with custom cabinetry designed to store a vacuum and all its accessories.
