Custom Cabinetry
We are proud to support local businesses and reduce our carbon footprint by buying local. Our cabinets are built locally right here in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Our custom cabinets are far superior to those offered by most companies. And we’re not just saying that. No space is wasted in filling gaps with space fillers. We do not spray our cabinets with a lacquer, but rather, use a conversion varnish that is both water and chemical resistant. Other important features include dovetailed wood drawer boxes, wood shelf edges, and full extension soft close guides.

As a family-owned and operated business, Powell Construction has deep roots in Corvallis. Tom, a lifelong resident, has a passion for building and remodeling homes and has dedicated his career to providing quality work that is both innovative and timeless. With over 40 years of construction experience, a degree in Geoscience/Ecology from Oregon State University, and a background in civil engineering, Tom brings creative solutions to even the most complex construction challenges.
Trent Powell joined the family business after earning his master’s degree from Oregon State University. He grew up learning the trade at the dinner table and gaining hands-on experience working summers on the job sites. As Project Coordinator, he manages estimating, builds the schedules, and oversees the day-to day coordination of the field crew. Trent is skilled in all phases of construction and is proficient in both 2D and 3D design software. He uses his structural expertise to collaborate with our designers in solving complicated scenarios.
The Community
Powell Construction gives back to the community through volunteering and sponsorship of local programs. Our involvement includes the Philomath and Corvallis Chambers of Commerce, City of Corvallis Committee for Citizen Involvement, Old Mill School, South Corvallis Neighborhood Association, Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services (WNHS), Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, and the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV).
