The new home has really come together in the last couple of weeks! Our final snapshots were taken as many items were being finished, but before everything was completed and cleaned. So please pardon the flurry of activity that you’ll see in these photos.
Below is the finished kitchen, with its Oregon maple slab at the bar side. The pendant lights illuminate its natural beauty. The appliances are set, and the kitchen is ready for its first food prep and entertaining event!
The Douglas fir front door is finally installed and its sidelights revealed. (To avoid damage, we purposely delayed installation until the last days of construction.) Here, our fine carpenter is installing the hardware. Our clients plan to fill the round window above the door with a wreath for the holidays.
The powder room is complete. Its wallpaper, sconces, copper vessel sink, and dark cabinet and fixtures make for a dramatic setting.
The guest bath has rich-textured wallpaper, a quartz countertop, and a cultured marble shower enclosure.
The guest suite has a bay window facing the cascades, a corner gas fireplace, and vaulted ceilings. The carpet—still protected in this photo—is surrounded by a perimeter of oak hardwood flooring.
The kitchenette in the guest suite is nearly complete, with cherry cabinets, a tile countertop, and splash.
Wallpaper, mosaic glass backsplash tile, and a copper vessel sink at the master bath work together to warm the space.
Our clients have moved in to part of the house as we complete the master suite and final details. The next photos will be taken next year when we professionally document the project. Thanks for following the progress!
