Over the past few weeks, we’ve been sharing some of our favorite before-and-after transformations—showcasing just how dramatic and meaningful a remodel can be. If you missed our kitchen and interiors editions, be sure to take a look! Today, we’re turning the spotlight on bathrooms. From compact hall bathrooms to spacious primary suites, these renovations vary in size, style, and scope—but every single one delivers that undeniable “wow” factor.
—A Fresh Take on a 1930’s Classic—
It only seems right to start with our very own office bathroom remodel. Part of a 1930’s bungalow, this bathroom needed an upgrade while retaining the historic details of a home built in that age. This bathroom had plenty of “vintage” qualities—but also some very real limitations. The original layout was tight, the finishes felt dated, and the plastic wall tile and laminate countertops weren’t doing the space any favors. The goal was to hold a sense of timeless character while creating a brighter, more refined space that functioned better for everyday use.

The result is a perfect blend of classic and fresh. A soft green wall color pairs beautifully with crisp white wainscoting, lending the space light and sophistication. The bulky vanity was replaced with a graceful pedestal sink, and the linoleum floors gave way to striking black-and-white mosaic tile that nods to the home’s era. Vintage-inspired wall sconces, an elegant mirror, and thoughtful storage touches round out this stunning transformation.

—A Tranquil Retreat with a View—
This primary suite bathroom had plenty of space, but the layout felt closed-in and the finishes were showing their age. The bulky L-shaped vanity took up visual space, and the room lacked the calming atmosphere the homeowners were hoping for. With no real focal point and limited connection to the beautiful, wooded surroundings just outside, it was a room ready for a fresh start.

Now, this space feels like a peaceful escape. A muted palette creates a calming backdrop, while the dark vanity and gold accents add warmth and a hint of drama. A freestanding tub takes center stage beneath a bumped-out window ledge—perfect for candles or plants—created to accommodate the wall-mounted filler.
Vertical wood-look tile mirrors the ceiling paneling, tying the room together with subtle texture. Mosaic hex floor tile carries through to the walk-in shower, where a rain and handheld showerhead offer comfort and flexibility.
Reworking the vanity layout opened the space visually while preserving double sinks and generous storage. Recessed medicine cabinets behind matte black, beveled mirrors offer a clean, modern update.
—From Storage Space to Spacious Sanctuary—
What’s now a stunning primary bathroom was once an unfinished closet and oversized storage area—an underutilized corner of the home with little function or purpose. But it had something special: abundant natural light and sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. With thoughtful planning, it became the perfect space to reimagine as a quiet, private retreat.
This serene primary bath now includes all the essentials: a freestanding tub with gorgeous views, a spacious double shower, custom cabinetry, and a walk-in closet—all thoughtfully arranged for comfort and flow.
Soft green cabinetry, warm alder accents, and patterned vinyl flooring create a calming, vintage-inspired palette. Cultured marble shower walls and built-in niches add timeless style and practical ease.

—Bright, Elegant, & Effortlessly Organized—
It’s hard to believe this luxurious primary suite didn’t grow an inch in square footage—every inch was simply reimagined. What was once three small, dark rooms—a modest closet, a cramped shower, and a separate bath area—was transformed into two bright, open, and beautifully cohesive spaces.

The tub was replaced with a fully tiled walk-in shower, while the former shower footprint became part of a custom walk-in closet. Custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and polished chrome fixtures bring elegance and refinement, while a heated tile floor adds everyday comfort.
A soft white-on-white palette keeps the space feeling serene and airy. The result is a calm, timeless retreat that feels twice the size—and impossible to imagine any other way.
—A Trio of Transformations—
This renovation breathed new life into three bathrooms—a primary bathroom, and two hall bathrooms. Here, we spotlight the guest bathroom, before and after. A space that once felt bland, and uninspired now feels sleek, open, and refreshingly modern.
Our design incorporated cohesive materials among all three remodeled bathrooms to create a unified, elevated aesthetic. Black slate floors, frosted blue glass tile, dark quartz countertops, and walk-in showers with frameless glass come together for a look that’s both classic and contemporary.

—Making Space for Something Beautiful—
Stuck in the past, this bathroom was just waiting for its chance to shine—its worn finishes and inefficient layout simply didn’t make the most of the space.

We reimagined the entire layout—removing a large closet to create space for a spacious, curbless walk-in shower for two and a custom double vanity. Designed with aging in place in mind, the open plan and barrier-free shower offer both function and flow.
Light finishes and strategic tile placement now brighten the entire space. A bold patterned floor tile extends into the shower, while ocean blue subway tile stretches vertically up the walls, adding a sense of height. The shower features a built-in quartz bench, scalloped niche tile, and frameless glass to keep the look airy and open. A soft grey vanity with a tower cabinet and open shelving adds storage without visual bulk.
This bath is now a serene, timeless retreat layered in calming blues and greys—tailored perfectly for both beauty and practicality.
Each of these bathrooms tells its own story of the comfort and calm of living in a space that truly fits your life. Whether it’s the ease of a walk-in shower, the warmth of a heated floor, or simply having a place that feels like yours, these transformations go beyond surface-level beauty.
If you’ve been imagining what’s possible in your own home, we’d love to help you create a space that feels just as good to live in as it looks.
