Cape Cod Addition

A primary bedroom suite and office were added to this 1940’s Cape Cod. Special attention was paid to the details of matching the original style of the home with custom moldings and windows. The design authentically replicates the “wing” and “ell” style common in Cape Cods. In keeping with the traditional style of the home, the original portion is covered in white clapboard, while both the wing and ell are covered in Alaskan yellow cedar shingles, which in time will turn a weathered gray.
