Eco-Friendly Whole House Remodel
— CORVALLIS, OR —
The owners of this ranch style home in Corvallis decided it was time for a complete whole house renovation. Green products were incorporated into the design to make the project as eco-friendly as possible. Low-VOC paints, naturally dyed wool carpeting installed without glues, and cork flooring in the downstairs all helped to reduce the project’s impact on the environment.
More about this project
Relocating the stairs to a more central location allowed us to open up the kitchen, incorporating the dining and family rooms into a great room. Custom built-in cabinetry provides additional storage and serves as a buffet area.
The entry space was completely redesigned and opened up. Finishing touches include a custom newel lamp post, hand crafted trim, and a window seat with built-in storage. Attention to detail helped create interesting and beautiful spaces.
The kitchen includes natural alder cabinets with narrow reed glass doors, granite slab countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The checkered Marmoleum flooring is not only sustainable but continues the classic retro look that the homeowners desired.
With a beautiful array of custom built-ins and stylish selections, a classic style is portrayed throughout the home.
