Is this a project to pursue with Powell Construction?
It’s important that our company be a good fit for the type of project that you are considering. Our expertise is best suited for projects that require design, selection assistance, and coordination of multiple trades. Complete kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole house remodels, and custom home builds make up most of what we do. Generally, we don’t take on repairs or stand-alone projects such as decks, siding, or window replacement unless part of a larger remodeling project.
Most of our projects are located in Corvallis, Albany, and Philomath, though we occasionally work in surrounding communities.
Once you contact us, we’ll schedule an initial meeting to discuss your project and send you information about our process and services. Following that meeting, we’ll evaluate your project from a feasibility standpoint and gather enough information to provide a preliminary budget range. This initial ballpark is based on similar projects we’ve completed in the past and is intentionally broad at this stage. As the design develops and project decisions are made, we’ll refine that range into a detailed final estimate.
During this initial meeting it’s time to ask all the questions you have been thinking of, such as: Is this a load bearing wall? Can I add a second floor to my house? Should I remodel this house or move to another house? How can I update this kitchen? We do our best to answer your questions and discuss your goals for your home while listening carefully to your wants and needs.
This meeting is all about finding the best fit for you. We show you our process in detail and review projects that we have done for others. We take an open and transparent approach so that you will be able to decide if Powell Construction is the Design – Build company for you.
